There is also a train to Boryspil airport.
How to get there?
The station is located on the border of the Shevchenko and Solomianskyi districts, formally belonging to the Solomianskyi district of Kiev.
Metro
Next to the main entrance to the station is the "Vokzalna" metro station. If you leave the station, the entrance to the metro is on the left side.
Trolleybus
- 14 Runs through the central part of the city to Botanical Garden
- 12 Partially duplicates the green metro line. You can use it to get to the central bus station.
Bus
- 24 Probably a popular route for tourists, as it leads to Kiev Pechersk Lavra, especially since there is no metro station nearby. On the way it passes Lipki and Bessarabian Square.
- 114 A long route to Troieshchyna. It has stops at Khreshchatyk, Independence Square, and Post Square.
- 50 Runs to the Obolon residential area, through Lukianivka.
The station building
The station complex consists of several buildings: the Central Station, the South Station, and several suburban platforms.
The station has two entrances: the main one from the city center and the metro station, and the southern one from the Solomianskyi district. The southern station may be considered a separate station, but in fact it is one complex of buildings. The main difference is that there is a McDonald's near the main entrance and a KFC near the southern entrance.

Ticket offices
You can buy a ticket to any destination at the ticket offices for cash or by bank card. To avoid long queues at the ticket office, we recommend using online ticket purchase. The only reason to stand in line at the ticket office is if you need to pay in cash.
Storage locker
You can leave your belongings in a locker so that you don't have to carry them around the city.
Lockers are located in three places:
- Cash desks at the Central station
- Transition between the Central and Southern stations
- Near the entrance to the Southern station

Transportation of cars:
Yes, if you are traveling to another city, you can take your car with you. It will be transported in a special freight car while you sleep in your compartment. This service is not available on all routes.
